2. The provisions of the preceding Article paragraphs 2 and 3 shall be applied accordingly to the preceding paragraph.

 

3. When a regional administrative organization performs work such as that described in the preceding Article paragraphs 3 and 4, the State may, within the limits of budgetary constraints, subsidise the regional administrative organization concerned for each item of work performed for public use at the third class airport established and managed/operated by that regional administrative organization by an amount not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the cost of the development
concerned.

 

(Cost Sharing for Disaster Restoration Works, etc.)
Article 10. When the Minister of Transport performs disaster restoration works (any work deemed necessary due to disasters such as earthquakes, high-tide, or any other unusual natural phenomena, or as specified by Cabinet Order; the same shall apply hereinafter) on runways, landing areas, taxiways, or aprons of second class airports established and managed/operated by the Minister of Transport, the cost required for restoration works shall be borne by the State at eighty percent (80%) of the cost and by the government of the prefecture in which the airport concerned is located at twenty percent (20%) of the cost respectively.

 

2. The provisions of Article 6 paragraph 2 and Article 7 (sharing of prorata costs) shall be applied accordingly to cases in the preceding paragraph.

 

3. The Minister of Transport shall, when performing disaster restoration work under paragraph 1, give notification in advance to that effect to the prefectural government sharing the cost under the provision of Article 6 paragraph 2 as applied accordingly to paragraph 1 and to the preceding paragraph.

 

Article 11. When a regional administrative organization performs disaster restoration work on the runways, landing areas, taxiways, or apron of second class airports managed/operated by that regional administrative organization or a third class airport established and managed/operated by such organization, eighty percent (80%) of the cost necessary for the work shall be borne by the State and twenty percent (20%) shall be borne by the regional administrative organization
concerned.

 

2. A regional administrative organization shall, when performing disaster restoration work under paragraph 1, obtain permission in advance from the Minister of Transport.
